- Do not attach a script or recording unless you deliberately want it reviewed.
A plan will not import
Confirm the file is UTF-8 JSON, uses format dev.didac.takuo.shooting-plan, version 1, and follows the published schema. Takuo reports unknown fields and duplicate shot IDs instead of silently changing them.
On-device planning is unavailable
Apple Intelligence planning requires a compatible device, supported language, iOS 26 or later, and a ready system model. Manual projects and .takuo.json import continue to work without it.
Voice following is unavailable
Confirm Speech Recognition and Microphone access in Settings. Supported languages and downloaded speech assets vary by device. Timed, sound-gated, and manual modes remain available.
An export needs more space
Try preferred takes only, choose a folder instead of ZIP, and free storage on the device. Takuo removes partial temporary exports when an operation is cancelled. Folder export is the recommended path for large projects.
A camera option changed
Frame rate and stabilization depend on the active camera, resolution, and device. Takuo safely falls back when the selected combination is not supported rather than presenting an unavailable mode as ready.
Photos or captions need attention
If a video did not save, allow Photos add-only access and confirm free storage. The managed take remains in Takuo unless you deleted it. To fix captions, edit their text or timing and export again; the original recording remains unchanged.
